Crowdfunding Bus Shelters: How the Plan Works

Crowdfunding is simply the funding of projects through donations. Supporters of projects make a direct economic impact to help the project come to fruition.

I decided to use this approach to build luxury bus shelters with amenities that will improve the commuters' experience. I chose this approach because government funding has done little to improve the image and practical aspects of public transportation.

The plan deals with how the funds are used as they are received. If all the funds were available at once, then the project would come together much easier and everyone would benefit more quickly. However, experience shows that projects often come together slowly, especially new applications such as this project. Therefore, the funds will be used to purchase land for the first shelter, then the shelter will be built and outfitted with equipment. This process will be repeated over and over again until these shelters are everywhere people use public transportation.
